Definition of eksposition :
Exposition text is a paragraph or essay contained a brief, dense, and accurate amount of information and knowledge. Other opinions state that the Exposition Text is a type or variety of text that has the function of conveying ideas in the form of thoughts about a topic. This exposition paragraph is Scientific or can be said to be non fiction.
exposition text has a lot to do with analysis. to convey one view of an idea, it takes a process of analysis of the idea. And, as a result, this can be included in analysis-type text.

The purpose of an exposition text is to persuade your audience to look at an issue with your perspective.
• An exposition text needs to:
clearly state the point of view, use valid research findings to support your viewpoint, defend viewpoint, and support the viewpoint with factual data like graphs, pictures, charts
language
• Using simple present tense
• Many use conjunctions such as because of, so, therefore, the reason, etc.
• Contains arguments.
• Many use words that contain cause-effect
• Using vocabulary that is able to evoke the emotions of the reader such as: amused, concern, innocent, monster, unreasonable etc.
Exposition Text Types
1. A defining exposition is an exposition paragraph that describes the definition of a particular topic.
2. Process exposition is steps or ways to do things from start to finish.
3. The exposition of illustrations is text that presents certain information or explanations in a way that gives a simple picture of a topic with other topics that have similar traits or similarities in certain things.
4. The exposition of a report is an exposition paragraph that presents a report from a particular news or research.
5. A comparative exposition is an exposition whose main idea is presented by comparing with others.
6. The opposition exposition is that this exposition is about the conflict of one thing and another.
Structure of exposition text
• Title : Tells about the topic
• Introduction : States the thesis statement of your text
• Body : A series of argument to convince the audience, each paragraph has to be logically linked to the previous paragraph.
• Conclusion : Reiterates or restates the thesis statement, and summarizes what has been stated.
Example :
Cars and Accidents
Car is the most popular transportation. However, there are many different causes of car accidents in streets.
Sometimes accidents are caused by bad weather. Ice or snow can make toads very dangerous. Accidents also can result from problems with the car.
Even a small problem like a flat tire can be serious. Bad roads are another cause of accidents.
Some accidents are caused by drinking too much alcohol.
Knowing some factor causing accident is extremely important to prevent accident while driving.
